Your favorite Hollywood movies are now available to rent from the iTunes Store

Now that you can rent your favorite movies from the iTunes Store and play them on your computer, iPod, or iPhone, it’s easy to build your own on-demand, go-anywhere multiplex.

Movie rentals from iTunes transfer to your iPod or iPhone to watch on the go. Either device remembers where you stopped watching on your computer and picks up where you left off.

Standard-definition movie rentals on the iTunes Store are $3.99 for new releases and $2.99 for library titles. Rent a movie and you have 30 days to start watching. Hit Play, and you have 24 hours to finish it — or play it as many times as you want. Rentals disappear when they expire, so they won’t take up storage space on your hard drive.
